Effectively Managing and Participating in Academic Meetings

Target Group: Doctoral researchers and postdoctoral researchers
Apply seven principles of effective communication to create explicit and implied social contracts to avoid and overcome negative and sabotaging behavior in academic meetings. Discover the seven distinct roles in effective meetings and learn how to manage them and/or distribute them to share the load.
Pre-requisite: having attended the “Key Communication Principles” seminar (May 21, 2019)
