Young Entrepreneurs in Science – Your Sciencepreneurship Career

In cooperation with the Start-up Centre of the University of Konstanz (Kilometer1) and Young Entrepreneus in Science.
 
Young Entrepreneurs in Science is an interactive workshop programme for PhDs and postdocs to encourage your entrepreneurial spirit and to provide you with the necessary skills and methods to develop your ideas further and put them into action.
 
In this workshop you will get a practice-based introduction to Design Thinking, which is the state-of-the-art method of user-centered idea development and -implementation. You will learn and apply the Design Thinking principles to develop and refine ideas. Following the process, you will explore the concepts of empathy and human-centred design and create a prototype from your ideas and present it in a peer setting. 
 
Admission is free and no previous knowledge is required.
YES will reimburse your travel costs within Germany (accommodation excluded). Please contact christine.ludwig@uni-konstanz.de.
 
The workshop can be credited towards the ASD certificate “Leadership, Management, Science Communication and Knowledge Transfer Certificate” in module IV (8 AE). If you have any questions concerning the certificate, please contact Melanie Moosbuchner (zertifikat@uni-konstanz.de).
