In cooperation with the Start-up Centre of the University of Konstanz (Kilometer1).
In this workshop you will reflect upon the transferable skills you have acquired during your PhD and research career, e.g. project management, innovational skills, problem solving etc. In a second step, you will learn more about entrepreneurship as a career perspective and the skillset necessary to be a successful entrepreneur. Further, you will compare your individual competence framework to the entrepreneurial skillset. (Usually, the skillsets of successful scientists and founders overlap strongly.) Finally, you will exchange ideas with the experts of Kilometer1 and your co-participants, which team members would complement your profile to create an efficient and productive team.
Admission is free and no previous knowledge is required.
The workshop can be credited towards the ASD certificate “Leadership, Management, Science Communication and Knowledge Transfer Certificate” in module “competence analysis” (4 AE), additionally to the obligatory ILIAS-course “competence reflection”. If you have any questions concerning the certificate, please contact Melanie Moosbuchner (zertifikat@uni-konstanz.de).
