E-learning course „Good Scientific Practice During Doctoral Studies"

The Konstanz Research School provides to all doctoral researchers of the University of Konstanz the interdisciplinary e-learning course “Good Scientific Practice During Doctoral Studies”.
The course is available in English as well as in German and comprises five modules containing comprehensive information and tests to check the knowledge gained on issues such as: How should research results be documented? What is the right way to cite? How does one handle image sources? How to wisely plan and organize one’s research project? Which legal aspects, such as in labour law or copyright law, are relevant for doctoral researchers?
The e-learning course was designed by GRADE (the (post)graduate academy of Goethe University Frankfurt). Completing all modules takes about 60 minutes. You may interrupt the course at any time, recover your previous progress or repeat modules. At the end, you will have the possibility to receive a certificate by GRADE.
Please note: The e-learning course „Good Scientific Practice During Doctoral Studies“ is accepted as the obligatory course on Good scientific practice during doctoral studies required in the General Doctoral Regulations of the University of Konstanz. Subject-specific courses (offered by some departements) on good scientific practice in doctoral studies apply here as well.
