In this YES-workshop (Young Entrepreneurs in Science) you will learn taking the perspectives of others in user research and how to develop a product or service with a precise fit for a specific target group. In interactive sessions, you will apply the Value Proposition Canvas, learn about analysis tools such as the Problem-Solution-Fit, Product-Market-Fit and Business Model Fit and transfer what you have learned to your own project. The one-day workshop is aimed at doctoral and postdoctoral researchers from all disciplines who already have an idea but are relatively new to the start-up process as well as to doctoral and postdoctoral researchers who want to deepen their entrepreneurial skills.
This workshop builds on the workshop "From PhD to Innovator". However, both workshops can be attended independently.
The YES-workshop "From Innovator to Business" takes place in cooperation with the University of Konstanz's start-up support. It can be credited towards the ASD certificate "Leadership, Management, Transfer of Knowledge " in modules III or IV (8 units).
