This interactive workshop combines short presentations, group discussions, and hands-on activities. Participants are invited collaborate and to share experiences and insights with fellow researchers.
Contents and objectives in brief:
- Overview of job perspectives outside of academia (data from national and UKN alumni surveys)
- Clarifying your career goals and priorities
- Competence analysis, identifying strengths and fields of further development
The workshop is led by Melanie Moosbuchner (Academic Staff Development), who specializes on alternative career paths for researchers. The content is designed for early-career researchers from the CASCB (Centre for the Advanced Study of Collective Behaviour) and affiliated departments, but the workshop will also be open to other researchers from related fields upon availability.
